My journey to better health

Desire to succeed
I am back on track. This time I chose to wait until I had been on track for a week to post. :)
I have been following a 1200 or less calorie diet and going to the gym Monday through Friday for an hour workout. So far the diet has been going real well and the workout is phenomenal. I love the gym due to its accessibility to so much equipment. I was hesitant to join a gym before due to past experiences where I would join and never go but this time the motivation is there along with the desire to succeed.
I weighed in at 174 this morning. I did not do any measurements as of yet. I plan to make it a monthly thing this time and I will measure and post them when I feel I'm in the right frame of mind to not get depressed by the results.
My goal this time is simple. I just want to be the best me I can be. If I am healthy and happy with myself then all is good.

Back at it....
Let's see... I fell off the wagon. I went on my cruise and then never picked back on the exercise and dedication when I returned. Good news is that when I weighed in this morning, I had only gained 8.8 lbs back during my downtime. That puts me at 181.2. I did not measure today but I plan to start doing that on Sunday mornings like I had done previously.
When I got home from my cruise I continued to take my plexus until I ran out and then decided I just couldn't afford it anymore. I seemed to be fine for a week or two and then I could feel a significant difference. I had less energy and I regained my cravings for sweets (which is not good) I had also started having the dreaded night sweats again.
I have restarted the plexus and accelerator... After being back on it for a week or so I can definitely say I feel better. I am amazed at the difference in energy and in sweet cravings. I have also regained my desire for water. The biggest thing i notice is the fact that my mood is better and the sweats have stopped again.
I plan to start the exercise again tomorrow morning and continue everyday as I had done previously.
I look forward to telling all of you my success in the weeks to come.

Thankful
I only had one change this week and it was in my weight. I went from 173.6. To 173.2. Good thing about this is I am not gaining. Bad news is I have to figure out what I need to do differently this week to be able to see more progress. I believe I have gotten a little spoiled with the major changes from week to week and I get somewhat discouraged when I only see minimal change. I am thankful that I am still moving in a positive direction and I will not let the slower progress discourage me.
It's a rainy day out there today so when you pass by the crazy woman in a wetsuit on her bicycle I ask that you keep the laughter to a minimum. :)

Fitness week
Good Morning All! I don't see much of a change this week but definitely no gain. I have been working out a little more this week and I feel that I am toner just not smaller. I am pleased with the results regardless. I will have to make this week a calorie counting week again to see changes in the scale and also continue with the increased exercise.

woo Hoo !!!!
Good morning everyone! It has been a very good week for me. I did what I set out to do and it payed off. I set a calorie per day limit of 1200 and it helped increase the weight loss for the week. I honestly hate counting calories but if it works, I'm all for it at this point. I felt like I had hit a plateau and was discouraged.
Weight 174.0 down 2.2 from last week total lost 34!
Bicep 11.5 same as last week down 4.5 '' per arm from beginning!
Waist 35.5 down .75 from last week total inches lost 4.5 from beginning!
Thigh 21.25 down .25 from last week total inches lost in both from beginning 12''!
Hips 40.5 remains steady from last week total lost from beginning 6.5''!
So let's see that's down 34 lbs, and total inches lost 32! All smiles here!
Now headed out to ride my 6 miles feeling very accomplished!

commit
Good morning. It has been an up and down week for me. I have cheated a lot on the diet this week but still seeing progress. I think the bike riding has helped keep the weight at bay. Problem is want to lose more then a half pound a week, I want to take off more then a few inches per week. Bottom line is I am planning to commit harder this week to the diet and continue increasing the exercise. I guess if weight loss were easy then everyone would be doing it....
I'm not at all disappointed with my progress I just know I was capable of more this week and my goal is to set out to prove that this week.
Beginning weight 208, last week 176.4, this week 176.2
Bicep beginning 16, last week 12, this week 11.5
Waist beginning 40, last week 36.5, this week 36.25
Thigh beginning 47, last week 22.25, this week 21.75
Hips beginning 47, last week 40.5, this week 40.5

I see results!
Another week behind me and I am bragging this week. I am proud of my progress and look forward to waking up every day to have that feeling of accomplishment set in when I look in the mirror or put on those clothes that no longer fit right. I urge everyone who would like to make a change in their health and or weight to start today. The sooner you start the better you will feel. It is a slow process. I am averaging a pound a week loss but it is making such a difference in my health, my attitude and my life.
